I am a PhD Candidate in Computer Science at University of California San Diego, where I work on Music x AI research with Prof. Julian McAuley and Prof. Taylor Berg-Kirkpatrick. I will be doing an internship at Dolby in Winter 2023 and at Adobe in Summer 2023. My research interests include music generation, audio synthesis and representation learning for music. Through my research, my goal is to lower the barrier of entry for music composition and democratize music creation.

I have interned at Amazon, Sony, Dolby and Yamaha. Prior to my PhD, I was a research assistant at Academia Sinica, where I worked with Dr. Yi-Hsuan Yang in the Music and AI Lab. I received my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University and my master’s degree in Computer Science from University of California San Diego.
